Derek Fisher won’t be seen at the Lakers practice facility for a while. The former champion point guard has signed with he Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavs are having an identity crisis at PG after Rick Carlisle pulled Darren Collison from the starting lineup in favor of Dominique Jones. Rodrigue Beaubois, meanwhile, can’t seem to ever stay healthy in the NBA. Fisher will likely back-up whomever starts.
The Lakers and Mavs have played two games already, each winning on the other team’s floor.
The two teams don’t play again till February 24th in Dallas.
