I’m not one to twist words, although Mike Brown seems to be. In all fairness, I wasn’t even that panicked even after the two losses. I actually thought the Princeton offense was a novel idea, an inspired effort to address a weakness in his coaching style. I even commended him for his pride-swallowing hiring of Eddie Jordan. Even as a total Laker homer, I didn’t want him fired. That was until he practically put the two losses and the team’s offensive struggles on Steve Nash. Steve Nash. The past decade’s best, most creative offensive facilitator. Yup. He’s to blame for all this. Good job, Mike. Pin it on the new guy.
