Negotiations on a contract extension between the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Harden are officially over.
The team has traded the super 6th Man to Houston for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and future picks. The Rockets also get center Cole Aldrich and swingman Lazar Hayward, while the Thunder get two 1st round picks, and a 2nd round pick.
The OKC’s loss is Houston’s gain…..correction, major gain.
Even with this new collective bargaining agreement, small market teams like the Thunder still can’t compete with the LA’s & NY’s.
While I knew the team would not be able to keep Harden long term, I’m surprised that they didn’t play it out and make one more run as is. James hardly would’ve been a distraction in OKC. As it is now, he’ll be an ATtraction….in Houston.

Lakers just got a free pass to the finals.
WHAT,IS SAM PRESTI DOING?!
