Harden signs max extension

October 31, 2012
By

According to Yahoo Sports, James Harden will sign a 5-year, $80 million extension with the Houston Rockets today. Yes folks, that’s another maximum contract for a guy who hasn’t even made the All-Star team (see Brook Lopez).

Now we know why James turned down OKC’s final offer of 4-years & $54 million.

With Jeremy Lin and James Harden both locked in the backcourt for years to come, the Rockets appear to have the market cornered on hype-players.

Call me in three years.

Extra Shot: Stephen Curry signed his own contract extension on Wednesday, getting $44 million over 4 years from Golden State.
