Fisher back to Lakers?

September 19, 2012
By

Derek Fisher was seen talking to Steve Nash at the Lakers practice facility in El Segundo today. He’s still a free agent after not receiving any serious offers all summer. He reportedly turned down a minimum offer from the thrifty Bulls last month. ‘D’ was understadably not interested in riding the bench in a crowded backcourt (Rose, Hinrich, Teague).

After being traded to the Rockets last season, NBA rules stiplulate that Fisher cannot re-sign with the Lakers for one year. However, if no other serious offers come his way, ‘Fish’ may just choose to rest his body till March and then return to Mike Brown’s lineup.

As if his PG rotation wasn’t old enough…..
