BREAKING NEWS: GM Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics have finally signed a center!
…no, not Jason Collins.
After talking to a number of teams, including the Miami Heat and Real Madrid, Darko Milicic has decided to take his talents to ‘Beantown’.
It will be a one-year, guaranteed deal with the Boston Celtics for the veteran’s minimum. This may finally grant Kevin Garnett his wish…to not start at C.
Then again, it’s all in coach Doc Rivers’ hands. But hey, if he could play Nenad Krstic big minutes, why not Darko.
Thanks to legend Vlade Divac, the Serbian center will always be en vogue.

Danny Ainge is reachin’ now..
Boston is 2 soft inside. Still.
What a worthless trade. David Kahn is deeilitfny not afraid to make a move. I don’t understand his logic on this one. They swap expiring contracts, except the player the T-Wolves gave up is a hard-working overachiever who mentors the younger players, and the player they get back is an overrated underachiever who has accomplished nothing. It seems like Kahn just wanted to be able to say that he made a move at the deadline.
