Chill Clippers fans, the Blake I’m referring to isn’t Griffin. It’s Steve Blake of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The back-up PG making roughly $4 million this season stepped on “spike strip” in a local parking lot and will miss most of training camp (according to local media).
Veteran Chris Duhon and youngster Darius Morris are next in line to give Steve Nash a blow. Since Duhon makes guaranteed money, this injury just may allow Morris to make the team out of camp (rookies Robert Sacre, Reeves Nelson, & Greg Somogyi are his main competition).
BlogNBAsketball will continue to monitor all Southern California malls for more Lakers coverage.
