Mavericks sign Chris Kaman

July 11, 2012

The Dallas Mavericks have finally joined NBA Offseason 2012.

The team has signed veteran center and former All-Star Chris Kaman. He will earn $8 million next season and likely start alongside his countryman, Dirk Nowitzki.

This may just be the palest frontcourt in NBA history. The Utah Jazz hold the record for whitest backcourt ever (Stockton & Hornacek).

* Does this move mean the end of Brendan Haywood in ‘Big D’? The team may use their amnesty clause on the overpaid former lottery pick.

Now i’m coming from Germany and now we are very proud of Dirk Nowotzki. A German is a supasrter in the cream of the crop basketball league around the world. Everyone is happy how the Americans celebrate our own Dirk. This might be much less well recognized in america.
