The Memphis Grizzlies have signed former All-Star Gilbert Arenas to a contract for the remainder of the season, according to the Memphis Commercial-Appeal. The deal is for the veteran’s minimum and likely contains no option for next season.
I hear that Gilbert reportedly was set on joining Memphis last week but wanted to make sure that the team wanted him and also that it was a good basketball fit. The team had worked him out right after the All-Star break.
Arenas will join the team later this week.
